CurtainUp is dedicated to empowering the next generation of performers through our unique approach to quality training from industry professionals combined with a focus on a fun and inclusive environment. Whether your child is an absolute beginner or preparing to step into the industry, we offer classes that will challenge and extend their skills in acting, singing and dance whilst also developing their confidence and sense of community.
Our Team

Paris Dallow (Director/Teacher)
Paris Dallow (she/her) is a Melbourne-based performer, theatre educator and stage manager with a Bachelor of Music Theatre from the Arts Academy, Federation University Australia. Career highlights for Paris include the role of Nicola in the New Zealand premiere tour of 'Kinky Boots' (G&T Productions), lead role of Mary in horror short film 'The 12th Day,' as well as her performance of Anika Moa’s ‘Little Bird’ at the televised 2020 New Zealand Attitude Awards.
Paris' passion for educating and inspiring young performers comes with a deep commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive and fun environment. She has worked with children of all ages, experience and a variety of different abilities/accessibility needs.

Juliet Nicolson (Teacher)
Juliet Nicolson (she/her) is a Melbourne-based theatre educator, performer, and Pilates instructor with over nine years of teaching experience and more than 20 years of dance training. She completed full-time ballet coaching at Tanya Pearson Academy Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Music Theatre from Federation University’s Arts Academy.
Juliet’s professional experience, including performing internationally at Universal Studios Singapore, informs her practical, industry-informed approach to teaching.
Juliet is passionate about developing strong technique, artistry, and performance confidence in her students and is committed to creating inclusive, supportive environments where students of all ages feel empowered to grow as artists and individuals.

Sol Summers (Teacher)
Sol Summers (he/him) is a Naarm-based performer, pianist, and music director. Since graduating from Federation University Arts Academy with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre, Sol has worked in a variety of projects, in a range of roles. Sol’s acting credits include Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors (Redacts), Larry in [Title of Show] (BeYou Productions) where he was also Music Director, and Ram Sweeney in Heathers (Federation University). Sol has also taught a range of music classes, including group singing, piano, music theory, and repertoire coaching. Sol is very excited to be joining the team at Curtain Up, and hopes to create a collaborative, rewarding, and most importantly fun music experience!
